Connecting Platforms

Anvil monitors 20+ social and commerce platforms. Connecting an account lets Anvil collect public posts and engage leads on your behalf, safely and within each platform's limits.

Supported Platforms

Anvil supports the major Chinese and international platforms:

China: Xiaohongshu (小红书), Douyin (抖音), Weibo, Bilibili, Kuaishou, Zhihu, and WeChat Official Accounts.

Global: TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Pinterest.

Commerce: Taobao, JD, Pinduoduo, Amazon, and Shopify.

Some platforms support read-only collection, while others also support engagement (replies, DMs) through a connected account.

How Connections Work

There are two connection modes:

Public collection: Anvil crawls public posts and comments matching your keywords. No account login is required, but you cannot reply.

Authenticated account: You connect an account so Anvil can both collect and engage. This unlocks DM automation and comment replies.

Connect an Account

Go to **Settings > Platforms** and click **Connect Platform**.

Choose the platform.

For OAuth platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube), complete the authorization flow to grant Anvil access.

For platforms without a public API, Anvil provisions a fingerprint browser profile (see below).

Configure collection frequency and filters, then click **Save**.

Fingerprint Profiles

Platforms like Xiaohongshu and Douyin have no public posting API, so Anvil uses anti-detect fingerprint browser profiles. Each profile carries a unique browser fingerprint and a dedicated residential proxy, keeping your accounts isolated and reducing detection risk. Manage these under **Settings > Fingerprint Browser**.

Collection Settings

Per platform you can set:

Frequency: how often the crawl runs (hourly to daily, by plan).

Filters: language, region, minimum follower count, and engagement thresholds.

Rate caps: how many DMs or replies to send per day per account, to stay within platform limits.

Troubleshooting

Connection expired: OAuth tokens lapse periodically. Reconnect from **Settings > Platforms**.

No results: verify your keywords match how people actually post, and confirm the platform is enabled on your crawl task.

Account flagged: reduce your daily engagement caps and confirm the account has a healthy fingerprint profile. Contact 738888@proton.me if a connection repeatedly fails.
